Tala Madani shortlisted for the Future Generation Art Prize 2012

We are delighted to announce that Tala Madani has been shortlisted for the Future Generation Art Prize 2012.

The exhibition of the 21 shortlisted artists will open at the Pinchuk Art Centre in Kiev on 27 October 2012 and an international jury will nominate the winner of the main prize at the award ceremony on 7 December 2012. The art prize established by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation aims to support international artists under 35.

This year’s jury is composed of Natalie Bell (independent curator and critic), Suzanne Cotter (Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation curator for the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi Project), Jacopo Crivelli Visconti (independent curator and writer), Bjorn Geldhof (artistic manager of the Pinchuk Art Centre), Sally Lai (director of Chinese Arts Centre UK), Eva Scharrer (curatorial researcher and writer for DOCUMENTA 13) and Polly Staple (director of the Chisenhale Gallery London).
