Alice Theobald at Modern Art Oxford

Alice Theobald will take part in Modern Art Oxford’s new digital platform for performance, music and film on 14 December 2014. Streaming live from the Wysing Arts Centre , the Basement.TV will feature the collaborative projects of Theobald alongside Olivier Castel, Julia Crabtree & William Evans and Jesse Darling.

This inaugural edition of Basement.TV is themed on Imagined Futures to accompany the Love is Enough exhibition, drawing on the political, social and utopian elements of Warhol and Morris’ life and works. Imagined Futures will be broadcast in front of a studio audience, live from the Basement at Modern Art Oxford. It will feature turner prize winning artists, futurologists, films and game shows.

The project will also present a documentary film about the making of Love is Enough, organised by Turner Prize winner Jeremy Deller; short visions of the future from academics at the Future of Humanity Institute, University of Oxford; Goshka Macuga’s film Preparatory Notes for a Chicago Performance; a performance of The Roadless Trip by Sarah Woods and live music from DJ Keith Harrison.
