Patrick Tuttofuoco wins the 'New York Prize' scholarship
Pilar Corrias Gallery is delighted to announce Patrick Tuttofuoco participation on the Premio New York/New York Prize, a scholarship program for emerging Italian artists.

The Premio New York/New York Prize is an initiative of The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs — Directorate General for Cultural Promotion and Cooperation—in collaboration with  Columbia University’s Italian Academy for Advanced Studies in America and the Italian Cultural Institute.

The prize offers artists the opportunity to spend four months in New York, to coincide with one academic semester at the Italian Academy to develop their work while exploring the artistic scene in the United States and particularly in New York. The winning artists will participate in the cultural activities organized by the Italian Cultural Institute and the Italian Academy, and may, with the permission of the professors, audit classes at Columbia University in subjects such as art history, film theory, visual arts and architecture. At the end of the fellowship the artists will organize an exhibition of their work at the ISCP Gallery (International Studio and Curatorial Program) in Brooklyn, or at the Italian Cultural Institute in Manhattan.
