Alice Theobald, who will have a solo exhibition at Pilar Corrias this September, currently has a residency at GASWORKS as part of SITUATION|EVENT (SIT|EV) a 60-day programme exploring live, durational and participatory contemporary art practice, bringing audiences in direct contact with the process of art making as it unfolds. During this residency Theobald will be working with Richard Hall, a trainee counsellor with whom she will set up a scenario to develop three partly directed, partly improvised counselling sessions. With the intention to create a series of vignettes these will contribute towards the making of They Keep Putting Words in My Mouth! – An Operetta of Sorts.
Theobald will present a work-in-progress performance on Sunday 18 August.
