Charles Avery at the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art, Edinburgh

Charles Avery will be included in the forthcoming group exhibition, GENERATION: 25 Years of Contemporary Art in Scotland, on view at the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art. GENERATION is comprised of a two-part exhibition at Modern One and the Scottish National Gallery, examining the way in which contemporary art has developed in Scotland over the past 25 years. Juxtaposing works made in key moments of the last quarter-century with new work made by established and promising younger artists, the exhibition brings together over thirty artists represented across the two exhibition sites.

Participating artists include: Ross Sinclair, Graham Fagen, Simon Starling, Victoria Morton, Alison Watt, Julie Roberts, Lucy McKenzie, Kate Davis, Charles Avery, Jonathan Owen, Claire Barclay, Ciara Philips,  Alex Dordoy, Douglas Gordon, Smith/Stewart, Roddy Buchanan, and Torsten Lauschmann.
