In October 2012 Mary Reid Kelley will show her 2011 film The Syphilis of Sisyphus at the Box/Wexner Center for the Art, The Ohio State University. Within an elaborated black and white painted set, the artist plays a pregnant nineteenth-century working class woman as she recites sarcastic verses about nature, artifice and modernity.
