Philippe Parreno will participate in the group show Dancing around the Bride: Cage, Cunningham, Johns, Rauschenberg, and Duchamp opening this October at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The exhibition, curated by Carlos Basualdo in collaboration with Erica F. Battle, explores the legacy of Marcel Duchamp’s practice in the work of the four great American post-war artists John Cage, Merce Cunningham, Jasper Johns and Robert Rauschenberg as well as in the work of international contemporary artists. Philippe Parreno has created a new marquee for the show.
