We are delighted to announce that ART in Embassies, US Department of State (AIE) will be honouring Shahzia Sikander along with the artists Cai Guo-Qiang, Jeff Koons, Kiki Smith and Carrie Mae Weems for its 50th anniversary in Washington D.C. on 30th November 2012. The artists have been selected in recognition of their commitment to AIE’s mission of furthering diplomacy through the visual arts and expansive cultural exchange initiatives
