Ken Okiishi in the 2014 Whitney Biennial, New York

Ken Okiishi is listed as one of the artists to be included in the 2014 Whitney Biennial, taking place in the spring of 2014 at the Whitney Museum of American Art and featuring the work of over 100 artists and collectives from around the globe. Each overseeing one floor of the Museum, the upcoming biennial is curated by Stuart Comer (Chief Curator of Media and Performance Art at MoMA), Anthony Elms (Associate Curator at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Philadelphia), and Michelle Grabner (artist and Professor in the Painting and Drawing Department at the School of the Art Institute, Chicago), representing a range of geographic vantages and curatorial methodologies. Whitney curators Elisabeth Sussman and Jay Sanders, who organized the highly praised 2012 Biennial, will advise on the exhibition.
